Dr Rachel Crossley is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychologist based in Sydney. She works with people across New South Wales through a Nationwide Telehealth Service (Sydney NSW 2000). Telehealth means you can usually attend from home, in a time that fits your day.
Rachel offers individual therapy sessions, couples therapy sessions, and family therapy sessions. She also uses behavioural therapy and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) to help with day-to-day struggles. In many cases, people come in because life feels too heavy at the moment. At times it can be hard to switch off worry, manage stress, or keep up with changes in work, relationships, or routines. Therapy can also help when communication at home is getting stuck, or when patterns have built up over time.
Sessions are practical and focused on what’s happening for you right now. The goal is to help you understand the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that keep things going, and then work out what you can try next. Rachel looks at how your concerns show up in real life, not just in theory. She also takes the time to talk through what you want to change, and what support would actually be useful.
Rachel’s education is in psychology. Over time, she has built her work around evidence-based approaches, including CBT. This style of therapy is structured enough to give you direction, but it’s still flexible to your situation. Depending on what you’re dealing with, she may help you plan small steps, practise new coping skills, and figure out how to keep progress on track after sessions end.
There’s no one-size-fits-all in mental health care. If you’re looking for a calm, steady space to sort through what’s going on, Rachel Crossley is ready to help you take the next step, whether that’s for yourself, your partner, or your family.
